The first step is acknowledging that you have a problem. I am addicted to Sewaholic’s Pendrell blouse pattern. This is my fourth.
This is a light blue netting-type fabric with a rose print on it. I underlined it with a soft blue cotton-blend. At least I think it’s a blend.
Yes, it is pretty sweet. But we have such a short summer in this part of Canada. I need to take advantage of it!
This underlining fabric is so soft to the touch. It’s hard to describe. Anyway, it got caught every time I stitched a seam! When I sewed my Some Kind of Wonderful Pendrell it was underlined but I had no issues handling both layers. This time I had to unpick every seam at some point where the underlining shifted over and got caught. So frustrating!
For this photo shoot I wore it with a navy skirt, navy belt (last seen here) and my go-to grey pumps.
What is your TNT (tried and true) pattern?
What I’m listening to: Keep It Hid by Dan Auerbach
You are a master of this pattern! It was worth the battles with the ripper and underlining!
Thanks! I find myself pulling my Pendrell’s out of the closet so often, I figured I needed another!
