I love how it flows. The color and print are awesome. Hope you’re enjoying your vacation!
Thank you! I love the dress and received multiple compliments on it as I shopped yesterday. Though they were salespeople trying to sell me stuff…
Anyway, I’ll take them!
How pretty! I love it. I think the bias cut of the top adds to the feeling of movement and defines your upper body nicely while making your legs look like the go on and on. Total win!
Thank you so much! I like the fluttery overlay. Especially since I don’t generously fill out a bodice.
While shopping I saw similar maxi dresses selling for far more than I paid for fabric! And there’s no way they would have reached my ankles.
Thanks for the comment! Means a lot.
Great backdrop, great dress! So flowy! 🙂
We were trespassing. Can you tell that I look scared? 🙂
Adorable!
Thanks!
Ooo pretty – love the fluttery fluttery bias.
I love the bias cut too. And it would also look good with a centre seam and chevron effect. Next time!
That’s beautiful! It’s a lovely dress, and even more so on you. Very stylish.
Aw thanks! The nicest thing was getting compliments from people who didn’t know I had sewn it. Always feels good, right?
You look amazing in that dress, and the location is breath taking. Well done you, particularly for surviving the hem!
Yeah, the hem isn’t perfect but I get some serger lessons next month. But good enough for a vacation garment!
I wanted the backdrop to have desert, wind turbines and mountains…we just had to slightly trespass to get the shot. 🙂
